TERMS & CONDITIONS > Competition • This competition runs from December 2008 until July 2009 • There will be no correspondence on the competition or voting process • The winners will be announced via www.karlkani.com, www.youtube.com/karlkani20years, www.myspace.com/karlkani and personally via e-mail in July 2009 • Your e-mail address will not be handed to third parties • Urban Trends Trading B.V. reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition or the Rules without notice • In the event of any dispute regarding the terms and conditions, conduct, results and all other matters relating to the competition, the decision of Urban Trends Trading B.V. shall be final and binding. • Entering into the competition automatically means accepting and understanding all terms and conditions. • Urban Trends is in no way responsible for any mishap or issue before, during or as a consequence of participating the competition. Qualifying entrants • Contender must be at least 18 years old as per March 2009 • Employees of Urban Trends Trading B.V., any company involved in the Competition, any web company connected with Urban Trends Trading B.V. or people affiliated to any other clothing brand, associated companies, agents, are not eligible to enter the Competition. • Additional eligibility requirements apply, e.g. a valid passport and/or a valid identification document • Urban Trends reserves the right to accept or decline entries/applications without explanation • The winners agree to sign a release form to grant full rights of use of the material produced • Urban Trends Trading reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of the Rules of this contest Prizes • In July 2009, 4 prize winners will be chosen from the top 20 best viewed and the top 20 best rated videos on YouTube, one from each of the 4 original elements of Hip Hop (MC, DJ, B-BOY, GRAFFITI). In all matters, the decision of Urban Trends Trading shall be final and binding. • The prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. Only one prize per entrant will be awarded and Urban Trends Trading reserves the right to substitute prizes at any time. • Prizes are awarded at Urban Trends Trading’s discretion and no prizes will be awarded as a result of improper actions by or on behalf of any entrant. Urban Trends Trading reserve the right not to select a winner, and/or to remove or amend the structure and operation of the Competition if Entries are not of the requisite standard. • The winners are responsible for providing us with a correct address which will be used to send any prizes. You are not entitled to enter the Competition if you are resident in a country or jurisdiction where the Competition may breach any law or regulation. Where this applies, Urban Trends Trading’s invitation to enter the Competition in such country and/or jurisdiction is withdrawn. • Claims for prizes must be made in the manner and within the time specified by Urban Trends Trading. Failure to claim a prize within this time or in the manner specified may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. • The winners need to provide us with a copy of a valid passport, likewise for their traveling partner (who must be 18 years old as per March 2009) in order to book the trip. Failure to do so may lead to disqualification. • Both the winners and their travelling partner need to have a passport with barcode, valid until at least six months after the competition has ended. • All taxes, insurances, transfers, spending money and other expenses (including meals or personal expenses upgrades etc.) as the case may be, unless specifically stated, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Prizes include • VIP tickets for you and a friend to this historical celebration event, including travel and hotel expenses. • A meet and greet with KARL KANI himself and many other international celebrities and media. • A Karl Kani party outfit for you and a friend • A year subscription to the Source, a.k.a. the hip hop bible
 Furthermore each winner from the 4 original elements of hip hop will get an additional price: • MC: a 20 years of Hip Hop Music package & 3 months music rotation on karlkani.com • Graffiti: 20 spray cans • DJ: customized Karl Kani DJ case • B-Boy: customized Karl Kani Ghetto blaster.
